irritable bowel syndrome
As well as being uncomfortable, painful and even debilitating, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can prove embarrassing and awkward – forcing you to avoid certain foods you love, situations you enjoy and events you really should attend.
Still, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, and in my hypnotherapy space, we can talk about it openly. After all, we’re all human – and we all poo! In fact, around 10-20% of the UK population has IBS, with some estimates suggesting that as many as 1 in 5 adults might experience the condition at some point in their lives.
Solution-focused hypnotherapy can help, in as little as eight weeks.

Hypnotherapy can not only alleviate the abdominal pain and discomfort, bloating and distention, diarrhoea, constipation, flatulence, tiredness and nausea that come with IBS – it can also give you confidence in going out and about, knowing you’ll stay symptom-free.
In one study, over 80% of people benefitted from hypnotherapy for IBS and still felt better up to six years later.
